Welcome to the Hampton Fun Runs - Results to follow

HAMPTON COMMUNITY FUN RUN 2008

The Fifth Hampton Community Fun Run was a runaway success with nearly 170 determined people of all ages finishing the two circuits of James’ Pond. The Under-8’s race on the school field also proved to be even more popular this year.

I know that many of you make running a daily habit once you have trained up for the big day. More mature runners(!) might consider joining our club, with its emphasis on keeping fit and entering races when you think you are ready. A big social side too, with the opportunity to make new contacts and friends. Get to know the fit people of Yaxley, Hampton and beyond!

One sour note from the 5th of July was the arrival of gremlins in our results system. It was over a week before we had real confidence in our recorded results. Please bear with us. This is the first time this has happened to us. We are making strenuous efforts to provide a fast and slick service next year.

Once again a big ‘Well Done’ to you all.
