Superb juniors impress at Eye

Charlie Evans secured third place in the Eye fun run this morning, as Yaxley juniors produced a string of fantastic performances.

Charlie finished in 11:26, just ahead of team-mate Oliver Carpenter, who finished fifth in 11:32.

Georgia Fitzgibbon was fourth girl in a great time of 12:41. There was also top 20 finishes for Sam Cook (19 – 12:48) and Adam Paice (20 – 12:51).

Twenty-five senior members Runners took part in the 10k, with some great times produced.

Matt Lauch was the first Yaxley runner home in 22nd position, in a time of 38:15, swiftly followed by Mike Morley, who finished 25th in 38:44.

Roslyn Loutit was the first lady home for the club, finishing 151st in 45:51.
